Thijs Lansbergen likes to draw whatever he likes or in case of a commission make something boring look good. His proces comes mostly from screenprinting and more static styles like persian carpets and old ethiopian bible illustrations. When making a design for an illustration, mural, screenprint, animation, he collects a lot of ideas and subjects. Then sketches everything separately, simplify it, distort it, play with the perspective, puzzle everything together and work it out in a few colors, resulting in busy but clear illustration.
